GENERATIVE AI Usage Policy

This policy outlines the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation of 3D art assets and related deliverables.

1. DEFAULT POSITION

Generative AI is not used in the creation, modification, or finalization of any 3D art assets produced and delivered.

All assets are created using traditional digital content creation tools and manual workflows.

2. SCOPE

This policy applies to, but is not limited to:

  • 3D models
  • Textures and materials
  • Renders and images
  • Supporting code and tools
3. RATIONALE

This position is maintained for the following reasons:

  • To avoid legal and copyright uncertainty associated with AI-generated content
  • To ensure clear ownership and licensing of all deliverables
  • To provide clients with assets that are free from AI-related dependencies or obligations
4. CLIENT ASSURANCE

Clients can assume that:

  • No generative AI systems were used in producing assets
  • All work is created through manual workflows
  • There are no primary or derivative AI-generated elements within the assets
5. POST-DELIVERY MODIFICATIONS

Once an asset has been purchased, any modifications made by the client are outside the scope of this policy.

If a client chooses to edit, modify, or enhance the asset using generative AI tools after delivery:

  • Such use is undertaken at the client’s own risk
  • Any resulting legal, licensing, or ownership implications are the responsibility of the client
  • The original asset, as delivered, remains compliant with this policy
  • Support, troubleshooting, or revisions cannot be provided for issues arising from AI-assisted modifications
5. POLICY UPDATES

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in technology, legal standards, or business practices. The version in effect at the time of contract or purchase will apply.
